LED Lighting
I got my first LED bulbs from Mass Save when they did the home audit. I have since been able to replace almost all light bulbs in the house except for a couple of unique ones (in the garage, over the stove) that don't yet exist in LED format.

Downsized Refrigerator
Submitted by: Community Lead
After my kids left home I didn't need the giant double-door refrigerator any more so I exchanged it for a much more energy efficient smaller one. I got this one from Jarvis, and I'm quite happy with it.

Home audit
I've actually done the home audit three times, because it was required for the heatpump, solar panels, and solar hot water, and each time I got something out of it. Highly recommend it!!!

EV
I leased my first 100% electric Smart in November of 2014. I'm now on my second one, and I will never go back to a gas-powered car. The best part about driving electric: It's the cheapest car I have ever driven. No maintenance needed, and many places allow you to charge up for free. I plug it into a regular outlet at home (which takes all night, but who cares!?) and if I have to travel longer distances I take a bus or carpool with friends.

Installed Solar Hot Water
When my electric water tank stopped working and I had to get a new one I decided to call New England Solar Hot Water. They are amazing. Even though my sun-facing roof is already completely packed with Solar PV they found a small corner where they could install solar hot water. It looks a bit like a UFO landed on my roof, but that's just fine with me.
